Hello everyone... I have 99 gtx 951 starter problem ...
replace starter with aftermarket one. The starter work for almost a year. The starter just spins doesn't engage flywheel, OK here's the problem, replace starter with new one. The new one just spins no engage to flywheel. The battery is good reading 12.5 volts. Is there a bendix drive that throws spine out. Or is there no bendix. just mesh with the flywheel. Next, is there a stater relay in this model and year. last what's the battery amps to crank starter... I don't think the flywheel is bad. i'm getting to think it might need ome one. The motor is not frozen. spins by hand. Thanks For all the help. Oh, let me say.... this forum has help me with problems... I greatly appreciate every one's help.
