starter problems

finally got to the starter on a 2000 gtx rfi 787 . pipe out of the way . The guys that rebuilt my motor only put one nut back on the starter. The top one. and also left the side support bolt out. anyway this starter and solenoid has failed and i think it as my motor locked up. the starter is stuck in the hole. What should i do to get it out. thanks in advance for suggestions.

I was hitting it kinda a hard. nothing . Its not wiggling or anything. Fresh rebuilt motor., it was running fine the wife came back shut it down but left the lanyard in . went to start it and the solenoid just clicks. I checked the voltage on the other side when making it click and there is zero. What ever happened is so weird .

so this is where the support mount is lining up. starter will not come out. motor will have to come out unless there is a way to pull the flywheel cover to see what happened.

Have You checked cable From Solenoid to battery and starter. in the "electrical box". ( when You said it was "zero on the otherside")

Are You sure You have loosen ALL bolts and Nuts, from starter...?
