Need to go faster than Ol-Lady, (lol)

Hey Guys, I have got some great information from alot of people here and I must say, compared to other forums I have belonged to, this one here seems to keep the silly people outta here without all the Stupid remarks and is a really cool place! Now, I hope someone can give me some ideas for some mods I can do to my Ski to keep up with the ol-lady, I mean it's not that much of a difference, I would just like something to make up for the 115lbs. difference, lol. Got both the 96XP's really running Good and I have seemed to worked most the bugs out... for now... Anyways, as far as top end, I can get mine trimmed out right about 52mph and she can almost peg 60mph. These are our first Watercrafts and have really had a Great Time with them! Just wondering if theres some Mods I could do to just get a little more without spending alot dough! Any ideas will be really appreciated and I thank you Guys in advance! Tim...... :lols:

solas/skat-trak impellor and a new wear ring. On both the sites...(solas/skattrak), they got an application guide, for your type ski/motor....ol'lady wont be happy, with these new parts.:reddevil:

X2. Now, someone once told me the Skat will be better for slower speeds and choppy water, while the solas will be a little better for speed.. Maybe other members can justify this?

I took a flashlight & looked in there, and the propeller looks new and my wear ring looks Silver.... I remind all ~NOOB~ :conehead:

You might have a stainless steel wear ring...dunno your model. May have to pull the pump and check the prop's clearance with a feeler gauge....again..don't know your model.

Mine reads .004-.006 between my prop and wear ring.

Yeah....I like it tight.

Sorry for the delay...was unable to track down your specs. I would imagine your tollerances to be similar to most..... .022 or less.
