Kinda freaking out b/c theres a lot of oil at the bottom of engines and have cable going to pump is missing??

It appears a linkage goes to the pump but I only have 2 that control carbs butterflies.
It should be a thin cable that swings arm on oil pump(has spring connecting to case for counter rotation)
also have that fitting going on side of N/S side that had no hose connected either.

I looked at other motor for reference and cable going to pump is also missing.

Is it that PO that got boat from set it up for pre mix?? Guy who sold it to me said system was still set up w/the pump??

Also rebuilding carb and write is is not for my carb. It shows a different top plate w/check valves which mine doesn't? have so its a little confusing..
when I took off cover where filter is there was no rubber gasket..
The rebuild kit tells me to put paper gasket then rubber one. but diy does not show paper gasket and SBT video doesnt show it either??
which is right??

and in regards to High and Low needle setting can someone confirm info is correct

form thread: http://seadooforum.com/showthread.ph...h+speed+needle
The High Speed screw is set to "0". It has a plastic cap on it to prevent it from being turned out more than a 1/4 turn. The Low Speed Screw is set to 1 1/2 turns out. It has a pin through it. Make sure both carbs are synced to each other. To adjust the idle use the single screw to adjust both carbs near the throttle linkage. Do NOT use the Low Speed screws to adjust the idle speed. In the water the idle should be at 1500 rpm's. On the trailer it should rev at 3000 rpm's because it doesn't have the load of the water on the impeller.
I hope this helps.

Thank You for reading and your knowledge is greatly appreciated.

EDIT:----------------------------------------------------------

After downloading manual I can see the injection cable is removed.
That means I have to do pre mix correct??
The gear in case doesn't have to be removed?
