I bought a 1997 seadoo and the top end of the motor was off exposing the pistons. It was probably like this for 4-5 years. I have the motor out on a bench and I cant get it to turn, the pistons seem frozen in the cylinder walls. I have a 4’ pipe wrench that I put on the PTO and I braced the motor and I cant seem to un freeze the engine. Any suggestions? I wanted to send this motor away for a rebuild exchange but was wondering if its rebuildable like this.
Also I was pulling the carb off and one of the bolts was seized. I put some heat with a torch where the bolt threads into the intake. I got the bolt out but I ended up melting the plastic bearing on one of the carb shafts, that’s right next to this bolt I pulled out. (yea I was an idiot).
Any help would be appreciated.
