Hey folks... I'm new to jet skis and just picked up a 2011 wake 155 and 2009 rxp. Didn't come with an owners manual but I did download the shop manual on here and still can't find what I'm looking for.

There are 2 black drain plugs on the back of the 155 just like my 2009 rxp but there is also a 3rd gray plug that I'm not sure about. It doesn't have a screw in plug with it so I'm not sure what it is? I put a picture of the grey plug on here. Any help?

Thanks!

You are looking at the FLUSH fitting. It is to be left OPEN as water drains from here when the ski is running. To flush the engine you thread a garden hose into that fitting. It goes, Engine on, hose on, hose off, engine off. It MUST be done in that order or you may allow water to enter the engine.

Also, your other ski has one as well but it is in the rear nozzle area. I believe it is on the right side and it will be a tube with the same threads as what you have pictured.

Most of us go to Lowes and build our own quick disconnect set up so we don't have to spin the hose to put it on.

If you only run in fresh water you will not need to flush the system unless you run in shallow water where you may pick up some sand.

While running on the hose you only need 30 or so seconds, max is a minute. Any longer and you can damage the carbon seal and the engine may overheat as well. The engine does NOT cool itself when on the hose. It is a FLUSH, not a cooling feature.

Wow, thanks for the fast reply! I found the operators manual download for my 2009 but still looking for the 2011 wake one. Do you happen to know where to find one? Thanks again!

I am not where I can check our site here right now. Did you check to see if it is in the list?
