more low end

My 96 xp is lacking in low end I need to replace the wear ring but was wondering if there is a better impeller for improved low and mid range excelleration and or better intake grate, the engine has only 4 hours on a stock rebuild so it has to work with a stock set up because I do not want to sacrifice reliability and fuel cunsumption since the xp's only have a 9 gallon tank which does not take long to empty on extended rides.

I think you can screw your red cap on the rave valve in and it will give you more performance in low end.
