More hook up on choppy water

I'm just wondering if it's even worth it to do some work to get more hook up on choppy water. If so what is your set up and how well does it work

Top-Loader intake grate will do what you want. It may slow you down a bit on very smooth water. It will give you over-all better steering and for sure better performance in choppy water.

Is there anything else that needs to be done impeller wise or jet tube? I have just read conflicting reviews on products
