2000 GTX DI roughly 170hours
So, I'm needing to replace my wear ring, and there's leaking water into the hull. recently purchased it, took it out once since buying it. Ran it fir maybe 10 minutes (was windy and still very cold water lol), put it back on the trailer and opened tge drain plugs. There was ALOT of water coming out so im sure theres a keak. Haven't had it in the water since then. Have been told it's probably the carbon ring/bellows. So should I attempt to put it in the water and try to determine if it's the carbon ring? Or should I just replace it since I'm pulling the pump anyways? What other places could water leak from?
And if I should just replace it, is this all I should need for the 2 jobs?
