What do the owners or people that work on them think about them? the super charger was rebuild 18hrs ago and has 100hrs, the guy wants 4500 with trailers prob get him down to 3900 its a salt water ski which is not so good.
Are these hard to work on?
how is the reliability on them?

theyre not hard to work on at all... nice, quick machines.. completely, COMPLETELY different then the two strokes.. if you take care of them.. theyll take care of you. 4500 is about the "average" ive seen them go for but for a 100 hour machine its always nice to talk em down some..

I would not be concerned just because its a salt water ski.. The real concern is whether or not the PO took care of it properly or not.. Take a flash light with you, take the seats off and take a look all around the engine compartment.. You will know right away if the ski was taken care of or not.. If you see salt deposits and the effects corrosion going on pass on the ski and look for another. Pull a couple of wire harness connectors apart and make sure they look good... 101 intermittent problems start to arise when salt water was left to slosh around the engine compartment for weeks or months at a time. If the PO hosed the engine compartment down regularly and coated the engine with oil as needed with a salt water ski it should be fine..
