I started it last night, hoping to meet others from Michigan.

In Madison heights here. Mostly hit st clair on day trips, use to launch at metro but now we go out by algonac or anchor bay, the river and marsh areas i think are cleaner and not as populated but take extended weekends at higgins lake, love it there, its the cleanest lake ive been on. The sand bar goes for 1/4 mile, no rocks at all and when the sand bar ends its a drop off up to 140 feet deep. The water is clear kind of reminds me of the carribean, with no salt. Who here has been out on the water this year? I have a few small things to do with mine still but curious what the water temps are up to. Can't imagine the lakes are all that warm yet.

I have been out 3 times on two different lakes. Its still cold but getting better everyday, I fell in once last month and it shocked me.

I moved out of Michigan this spring and I am currently in PA. You can take me off the list.

I have not made it out, the only lake I have seen is the puddles in my back yard from all the rain. This weeks low temps will not help either, it is only going to be 70 all week.

Grandville (Grand Rapids). Mostly boat out of Port Sheldon on Lake Michigan, or Hardy Dam in Newago, lots of coves to just go park and swim.

Lake mi is chilly (probably is low 60s), not too terrible, but Hardy Pond by us was actually about 70 last weekend. Not bad at all!
