Michigan Here

There is nothing too special up here, pictured rocks are cool, and some of the falls are neat to go and see, otherwise lots of nature and woods if you like that sort of thing.

I live in Hudsonville, just west of Grand Rapids....currently in the market for a Sea Doo or Yamaha jet boat to replace our current IO boat.
Enjoy most of the local inland lakes like Macatawa, Silver Lake, etc. If you know of anyone selling a 20 foot late model Sea Doo shoot me an email at jeffrsm@tds.net.

Ann Arbor area here! But I grew up near New Buffalo, and miss the riding Lake Michigan. You guys on the west coast have no idea how good you have it...except for the lake effect snow.

Mullet Lake in Cheboygan Michigan

Here are some pics from the July 4th weekend. My buddies family owns a couple restaurants in Cheboygan and he and some other friends fabricated the pontoon you see in one of the pictures. They put a pontoon hoist on upside down and welded to the pontoon. They then attached some winches and to raise it out of the water. He schedules live music the first weekend of every month in the summer. The 4th and Labor day weekend are by far the best. If anyone is ever in the area you should for sure check it out. There were between 200-300 boats there this past weekend. The darker day was Friday after work and there was not many people out. But you can tell in the sunny pic the weather was great. The pic taken at night was us waiting for the fireworks to start they have a large barge that they tow out to the lake and have a GREAT firework display.

I'm in white Lake township. South of M59 West of Waterford. I live on an inland lake so spend 99% time there. Also get to St. Clair Shores every so often.
Let's have a Michigan get together....ideas????
