Have been on the site for years but just found this forum for Michigan.
Mostly ride on Lake St. Clair but take it up north a couple times a year.

Laingsburg, MI
Been riding for 10 years. Now down to one ski and a 1999 Challenger.

We have a place up North in Lake George by Clare. Also my cousin has a place on Lobdell Lake. So if we can’t get up to Lake George we just go there.

I was out there years ago seemed kinda scuzzy at the time.

The shallow end by the railroad gets weeds because nobody drives over there, but other than that it’s pretty much all sand bottom.

I thought the same thing too, coming from riding big lakes, moving to EL and everyone telling me it’s a pond, it’s not worth riding, etc. well I mean it’s more fun than sitting at home staring at it lol.

Lol no it’s not. We setup buoys and run them on weekdays. It’s small and there’s no waves but it’s not dirty or scummy haha.
I guess it could be good for that if there aren’t any other boats to get in the way. I know there’s a sailing club there that goes out and gives sailing lessons.

Anyone know a quality inexpensive place to get a boat wrapped? Also, wrapping jet skies... is it needed or just get a good quality tarp?

Anybody riding Lake Lansing this week or next? I’ve got my ski in town and I’ve been heading out there a couple times a week after work.
