Maintenance Light Question

All:

Will the maintenance required light limit the performance of a 2011 RTX-X? Took the ski out this weekend and noticed the light finally needed to be reset but now cannot get above 60 mph and it is slow getting to that. Also noticed a very quick hesitation while accelerating. Thought that may be the cause but am not sure.

What light needed resetting?

Performance probs sound like sc slip/boost issue and cavitation.

No, the MAINT reminder won't limit the speed or rpm. You have another problem.

Yeah we are thinking bad plugs. Dealer should tell us tomorrow when they reset light.

so we replaced the plugs and they solved that problem.
