Looking for RH Sponson – 97 GSX

Previous owner broke the right-hand side sponson for my '97 GSX. Tightened a tie-down strap across it, and broke the back half off. This past w/e the rest of the front half came off while riding, leaving just the bolts.

Now I’m looking for a replacement. Stock color was purple, but left side is replaced with black. So, I would like to find one for the right in black. For reference, the original p/n 292 000 380 has been changed to 292 000 494. Anybody got a spare up for grabs?

i believe i have a set that would fit your ski, however i can't just sell the one i'd rather get rid of both. let me know if you're interested the set will be fairly cheap. i realise i'm kind of late.

The 99 gsxl has a different reference number for the part. Not sure if it is the same.

Can you check these dimensions? My overall length is 20-3/4" It's got a 4 bolt pattern with the first two close to the front and the back two spaced out more as it goes toward the rear. 1st bolt is 2-1/4" from front, then 3-1/2" center to center to the 2nd, then 6-3/4" ctr to ctr to the 3rd, and then 6-1/2" ctr to ctr to the 4th.

Yep its the same.. I also have a blue one off a 96 gsi but they are a pair...

I've got a "capture" program that let's you grab screenshots. Pasted the shot of my pic into excel, marked it up, screenshot it again and saved as a jpeg.
