Just purchased a 1999 Seadoo Speedster SK, had the ski but decided I wanted a jet boat as well. I do not really understand the fulldifferences in the normal speedster and the speedster SK though.
Just started cleaning the boat and prepping it, had to replace a few items including the port engine flywheel and stator, next adding a voltage gauge by livorsi marine then adding led lights to the boat, underwater stern lights an a clarion cdma6 radio, then a JL audio amp and jl audio 7.7" coax speakers only need 4 due to the size and power of them. Down the road I will be adin another amp and wakeboard tower with 4 more speakers, simple for now. I think I am going to upgrade to livorsi controls and pop up cleats as well, I hate the look of fixed plastic cleats. I do have to say I very much like the storage up front vs another seat.
Im still deciding which type of interior led lights to use, I am certain on blue, just not what type yet. I am going to change out all the toggle switches to carling blue led ones as well, I am thinking to add the 2nd battery to the bow as not much room in engine bay unless I can turn the factory battery sideways.
