Is there a difference between a 2007 gti and a 2007 gti rental model?

I have the 06 gti base. Basically the rental is the base but with a rental key. The rental key doesnt allow you to go wot. Its somwhere between the learner key and the full jam key. I think rental limits u to 90 percent of full throttle.

Se gives u a boarding ladder and speedo with more graphics and different paintjob.

Hmmm

Now you have me thinking.

I might have been scammed :(

My ski came with one key, when I put it in it says L key (learners key)

I knew that when buying it but the person I bought it from said that there is full keys and he would have to get them from his cottage.

Of course no response from him now.....

If I did buy a gti rental can I get a key programmed to give me full throttle?

Thanks again

Yah u wont have the full potential with the learner key. I think your limited to like 30mph. If u bring it to a brp dealer u can have your key reprogrammed to a regular key. My advice would be to keep learner key and buy a new key as a std key. Theyre handy if u lend your ski to someone who hasnt been on one before.

Thanks BMANN06

Is the engine and all specs exactly the same as the base model with the RENTAL? Is the only difference the key that doesn't allow full throttle

Thanks\

Np. And u you got it. Ive got the same ski as u but yours is a year newer same colour too but the 07' has better graphics.

And your timing chain is better ... Just jokin just a little inside joke on the forum. They are great skis def. not the rocket of the lake but u can hook a tube/wakeboard etc to them And they tow great!

Cheers
