irridium plugs??

on a 2 stroke... they won't stay clean, and they are expensive. Just throw in a set of NGK's.

A friend of mine told me a few days ago that sea doos recomends changing plugs after each use. Anyone ever heard that?

I have heard not to use those, use only the correct plug with correct gap. Change them every season, not after every use. I'v gone a couple seasons without changing no problem.

On any curburetted engine, platinum, iridium or simillar plugs with fine point electrodes are not recommended because, unlike the old style plugs, they are not self cleaning. Once they are fouled they are finished. On fuel injected engines you can use them because the mixture is precisely controlled.

:agree: leave the expensive plugs for your fuel injected toys!

Stick with the stock recommended spark plugs from seadoo gapped properly. They are the correct heat range and length . Replace them every season or if they get fouled. It's a good thing to keep some spears on board at all times.

i am so tired of all this hype about e3 and platniums and now with 20 electrodes blah blah blah. dang it there is a few folks at your crafts factory that get paid alot of money to design these motors , im going with what they tell me to . now the only reason to change over plugs are if your heat range does not suit your climate or riding style . for my cars and ttrucks i use delco plat ' factory 100 k plugs ' fords get moto craps ' and german or swedish car get bosch , as for all my outboard and inboards i use ngk , they are hands down thee best plug out there for almost any application , well the omcs use champions for some reason but they like them better than the ngk ??? champion and autolites suck ! and if you have to replace plugs every time you ride then you have a problem , smack your buddie the next time you see him , only top fuel drag cars do that
