Intake water flow 2007 rxp

Can someone tell me how the exact pathway of water is --
I know from the pump/intake grate it goes in but to where
(how come water does not come out of the flush port when ski is underway --flush port hose connects to where inside) It cant be a back flush because u are running the motor

I am missing something?

The engine is a cooled by anti-freeze. The open loop system is for your tuned pipe and intercooler, if you have the SCIC. Back flushing should still be done even though your not flushing the engine..........:cheers:
