I just finished rebuilding one cyiliner in a 1992 SP 587 because an oil injector line broke and burned up a cylinder. This, right after I had just rebuilt the entire top end.
How can I test to be sure the injectors are working properly before I start it? I've replaced both tubes, opened the bleeder to remove air, and cranked it with the throttle open. I'm getting oil in the tube, but it's only about half way to the end, and doesn't come out the end.

there is a test in the manual.

You remove the pump, and hook it to a drill. Then spin it at 3600 RPM, and measure the output.

You will have to look up the exact volume for your engine.
