Identify this boat: 1997 or 1998 Speedster

The guy has it for sale, I need to check the VIN, but until then , do you guys say its a 1997 or 1998 speedster?

I know its not a 98 Speedster. Thats what I have and they are totally different. Maybe a 97 speedster or a different boat from 98.

If RFoster gots 2-110's, then he gots the Speedster, the SK had 2-717's.

Think its a 97speedster, considering it has the "spotter" seat. how much he askn?

Seedoya is correct. The 98's are not SK models. 98 came with 2 787 motors. The 99 is the SK boat with the 2 717's. Kinda odd how they made the 99 the SK. Since the SK designates it as a ski friendly boat, but yet they downgraded the engines.

You should not be paying more than 3500 for that boat, and that would be in PERFECT condition.

also... $5k is too much. if it's very clean, with 2 new engines, then $4k would be ok. I have a 95 speedster local to me going for $2500. clean and recent engine rebuilds.
