Identification markings on needle bearings

Today, instead of trying to push in my new needle bearings and seal without the proper tool, I decided to go down to my local seadoo dealer and let them do that part. The guy told me no problem it'll be a half hour of work. Fair enough hell thats half the cost of the tool. I did notice something when I got it back however. The shop manual calls for the identification markings on the needle bearings (mine says USA and something else) must be located toward the outside of the housing. Well of course mine are all backwards. Is this going to be a problem down the line and what difference does it make anyway? Thanks guys...

Well, the first thing I'd have in question at this stage is whether or not they pressed them in to the proper depth. These guys are suppose to be certified mechanics. If it were me, I'd probably take them the page to the shop manual and ask them to read it!

I don't know if it will actually cause a problem but their is a difference between the front and back. The lip on the front side measures 23.10mm and the lip in the back measures 22.80mm. So, is it possible the smaller lip surface of the rear of the bearing provides for better lubrication? Don't know, I"m not a design engineer. But, you didn't get what you paid for.

Oh, the stamp you saw does say USA. On the other side? It's the bearing number stamped in it. I think it's about a 7 digit number.

Well you called it. The venturi side is the only side i can measure and one pump is .140 and the other pump is .046. (should be .080 - .120)

The dealer/shop is Coleman Power Sports in Woodbridge, VA.
