Re-reading.. Might have mis-read, This is fast paced stuff :P

Ya I hear ya.... This thread has been very fast paced... It's making my brain hurt, and I may have done a less than great job of explaining what I was trying to say, hard to get it out in a message

Well either way.never got a spark. Hard to believe because it sounded like it was about to crank. Guess tmrw I'll get another 10 pack of.plugs and 18 pack of.beer...and.the saga continues

You don't have spark at all ? as in with or without the spark plugs installed?

For the next battle, Stick a multi meter on the battery and check what its draining down to while your cranking.
Aim for 11V and no less.

So.all.of these are fouled

Time to crack the E-boxes open, and check fuses, dry stuff off etc........ Why wait, night is still young

Possibly but likely Not

Likely you don't have the POWER to create a good spark and burn through anything on the tips and instead your getting something that is acting like a fouled plug instead.

I mean we are talking about a spark that is supposed to jump (in total ) 1 mm, ( 1/2mm on one plug and then 1/2mm on the other plug for a total of 2mm)

I mean the new plug out of the box is set to almost twice that! So you see how weak and sensitive this system is!

11.8 Good enough, Carry on!

In the back electrical box with the coil in it.
The bolt on the bottom is actually a screw that is screwed into a piece of plastic.
Most people replace that with a bolt and nut because if that comes loose you loose spark!
Water and corrosion could also lead to bad connections in there.

Could all the wd-40 that was sprayed in cylinders be fouling. Plugs?

Youtube or google drive and post the link to the video.

Wasn't there something about a chat applet on this forum ???

Would speed things up

Having allot of fluid in there will extinguish any spark.

While your waiting. Measure the resistance between the two cap's. That measurement is the Secondary coil winding resistance.
It's 8.4-15.6 K ohms as per manual.

That's quite a bit!, it should help with displacing the water but would also flood the plugs and stop it from firing.
but you should get at least a few hits every now and then.

Sounds really strong for cranking.
What about with some throttle, choke, prime?
is there any water in the back electrical box?

Do the plugs work in one of the other machines? I mean now that they seem fouled.

Haven't pulled plugs out gti....tried.priming...no factory choke. Put premix.down cylinders. Ebox.is.dry

Beer is a terrible starting fluid, don't ask how I know this!

Is there spark with the plugs removed?
Is there liquid on your plug electrodes?
I agree it may be flooded, remove plugs and crank it over throttle WOT and watch for spray (gasoline in bilge goes BOOM, be careful and ready to put out any fires, man).
Can you put your "fouled" plugs in another motor and fire them off to test/dry them?
Rinse wet plugs in solvent, gasoline or something to dry them.
Swap MPEM?
