How to Identify 155 From a 185 Short Block

Need help on How to Identify 03/2002 185hp From 155hp Block, just trying to figure out how my 2004 SC-185hp center piston just grenade was told not from Lack of Fuel, No Code On Display, Just wondering the motor was replace with a 155hp 03/2002 (M5528711) block, Any ideas will Appreciated.

Here is a Piston from my 2004 GTC-185sc, To me it look like a 155hp Piston, I though any SC-4tec have concave piston and N/A 4Tec had flat top piston that have higher compression ratio and piston is stamp 97 and 99,96.
