how much lateral movement ?

how much lateral movement (front to back) is aceptable for the impeller in the jet pump housing? got mine together and i have about 1\4 inch of freeplay

I don't know what the spec is... but 1/4" is probably to much. I think you may have missed somthing. my pump moves... but just enough to hear a click.

I just looked it up… the end play is 0.005-0.021”
