How long are trailer 2x6 's bunks adding runway lights

Does anyone know how long the 2x6s are off hand?? getting ready to replace the 2x6 wood and carpet and thinking about putting in runway lights pictured below to help with loading at night. check out pic..this would be helpful

yeah I just wasn't around the trailer at the time I wrote the post...the bunks appear to be 2x5's but i am sure they are 2x6's and they are 8ft long...thanks
 
got the wheels put on and they look good!

NEW custom wheels on Speedster trailer

I know thread is a yr old but the runway lights look pretty neat.

FYI - All lumber sizes are not the size that's labeled. A 2X4 is actually 1-1/2X 3/1/2 a 2X6 is 1-1/2 X 5-1/2 (or less).

but I know what you meant.

yea ur right doesnt lol i thought i put nt after guess not .. yea like i said i build houses and it sucks cause the sizes are all a half inch off lol makes no sense .. but wen we rip old houses apart there is real 2x4s and the new shyt dont match up
 
Thats because a long time ago they didnt put the wood through a planer. Now they do so that the lumber is cleaner looking. I know its retarded.
