I just replaced the grey fuel lines and i was trying to crank it today but I need to get fuel flowing again. I've tried grounding the spark plugs and cranking it but there s no fuel coming through.

I just did this a month ago, pulled the choke out and it started right up. The choke will suck more fuel in

If the system has no leaks... and the pump is working... you should have fuel in about 10~15 seconds. (20 tops)

OK... not to sound like an a$$... but did you turn on the fuel valve?? (I've done that)

Also if you just replaced the lines and didn't service the carbs., especially clean the carb. fuel filters, you're gonna have trouble pulling fuel.

I went through the carbs with carb cleaner but I didn't replace the gaskets. I didn't really try cranking it much I wanted to make sure I wouldnt burn anything out so I just asked first

There are filters in the carbs that need cleaned with soap and water. Carb cleaner will destroy them. The selector valve also needs cleaned as the green gunk gets stuck there often.

You did most of what you need to do, just not enough done yet to get it running right.

Hmm, I have always used carb cleaner to clean the filters. How will it destroy them? I just usually give them a quick blast and then rinse it with water

I have cleaned the selector valve. I jusy barely sprayed down the filter with the carb cleaner I sprayed it ob the corner of the filter first to see if it'd hurt it but it seemed fine

One thing to be absolutely sure of, make sure that you have the supply and return lines connected correctly. I replaced mine a month or so ago and would have bet on my life that I had everything connected right. I was getting nothing through the supply line, and as it turned out, I had the lines reversed. I'm still not sure how I did that, I thought that I had taken them off one at a time. But thanks to the people here, I flipped the lines around and the fuel filter filled right up and she fired after 5 seconds or so of cranking.

Most filters I agree with you..

The ones in the Seadood carbs have a plastic that literally melts with carb cleaner. Maybe by you rinsing them it neutralizes the issue...

I always have cleaned my carb. filters, with what else, Super Clean, just let em soak for a few minutes, they come out like new.

I just replaced mine and haven't bled them yet but I was thinking of a way that would work if it needed it.

The tank is supposed to be well sealed with a check valve allowing air in. I was thinking of turning the gas off and blowing in that to pressurize the tank a bit. Then put the fuel line coming from the selector in a bottle and open the fuel tap to on and then reserve and shut it off once there is no air out of each of the selections. Then just connect the line and open the tank to bleed out any extra pressure and it should be ready to go.

But like the guys are saying. Don't stop there, go through the carbs thoroughly.
