Hope to take boat out tomorrow. Replacing filters on ramp.

The boat is in storage, so I cannot look at it right now.

I plan on swapping fuel and oil filters at the boat ramp, and need to know what tools to bring.

Are they installed with hose clamps or just small wire-zip-ties?

The stock fuel filter is just a spin on bowl. Spin it off, replace the filter, wipe out the bowl, and reassemble. One thing... get a new O-ring. if yours is hard, it could break, or it may not seal when you put it back together.

The oil filter is just held on with zip ties.

So... 2 new filters, a few zip ties, O-ring, paper towels, wire cutters (for the old ties), and rubber gloves. (for easy clean up)

As far as I know... SeaDoo used that spin on bowl style on all the early skis and boats.

I personally use a 1/4" in-line filter, along with the sediment bowl.

I guess you are right. I pulled the parts explosion on your boat, and it's just an in-line filter.

WHEW! Had me worried there. I didn't ever remember seeing a bowl like on my XP.

I swapped the bowl out on the XP because it felt "stripped" and wouldn't get tight. This was back when I was losing fuel pressure periodically and I went through the entire fuel system. Ended up being the selector switch (Off-On-Reserve).
