Holy Crap ... glad I examined my timing chain on this rebuild!!

I'm rebuilding a 215 out of an RXT ... check out the masterlink in this chain. Wow glad I caught that ... that would've been awesome on the first startup ... anniliating my brand new valves!! I might pull the head cover off my 4tecs once or twice a year and spin the timing gear to ensure this isn't happening in my other engines ...

Pretty wild, it wasn't bent like in pic either, I bent it after i saw the cracked link. I think I'll just make replacing the timing chain part of my rebuilds moving forward.
