Hinge pins

Do the hinge pins come out of 98 Seadoo sportster 1800 engine hood?

I remove the 3 screws from the boat side to get the engine cover off. Spray the underside of the screws with WD or PB blaster. Then slowly and carefully back the screws out. I spray the screws again as I back them out from the top side

Oh, it's the only way. I refuse to hang upside down. You can't use to much wd
