Hello Sherman...

I am going to move this post to the BOAT forum as they will be able to help you better. I will leave a 30-day redirect which will leave the message here as well so you an find it until you get more familiar with the forum setup.

Hi and welcome to the SeaDoo forum. I'm sure someone will be able to help you, but we probably need a little more information. Does your Challenger have one or two motors and what year is your boat, if you're not sure about the year it's the last two digits of the HIN (hull identification number).

We recently went on a southern Caribbean cruise and one of the stops was Bonaire, what a beautiful place. We did a little snorkeling at Playa Lechi and all I can say is WOW, I've been a lot of places but I have never seen snorkeling that good anywhere. We plan to come back to Bonaire as a destination and do some scuba diving.

This drawing shows how the cooling system on a SeaDoo 787 works, it may be of some help.

Lou

Hi Lou seadoo boat challenger has 1 motor and the year is 1996. Yes that's why they are calling Bonaire the diving paradise. Iam glad that ypu liked it.

O.K., I'm not sure which hose you're talking about. It it's the cooling hose it connects from the pump to the inlet on the motor cylinder cover, it connects to the one with the arrow pointing toward the motor.

If you're talking about the flush hose, there's a hose connection on the pump mounting plate, you can just connect a garden hose. I'll caution you not to backflush the boat for long, maybe 30-45 seconds and the carbon seal will not be cooled when running on the hose. Also start the motor, turn on the water, turn off the water, stop the motor, or you will risk hydrolocking the motor.
