just picked up a couple of 1993 seadoos. ones an xp and the other is an sp. both seem to run good. ran a compression test on both and they were all about 150 psi. the xp needs a wear ring so I got that ordered. they both had some oil in the bottom of the hulls, not a bunch but definately visable. hoping they just never kept it clean as I got it all cleaned up now. hoping to have them out on the lake soon. I do have one question, how easy is it to get back on the ski after you jump off for a swim or get thrown off? I'm 41 years old 6 ft 235 lb and wandering if I will need help. thx, chris

It's a little tough on an older short hull Chris. It's lots easier if you still have the strap halfway up the seat. It gives you something to grab besides the handlebar when you're half off the doo.

Check out the oil tank. The bottom grommet commonly leaks and the seam cracks and leaks there as well.
