HElp with a hose

i got a 96 gti from a guy for free. The motor was out and i had it rebuilt. I got it all hooked up and i cant figure out where one hose goes. can someone give me some help? It is the small clear one on the right in the picture. it is a long hose but i cant seem to find where it goes.

I looked through the manual and dont see anywhere about any of the three hoses that are in the pic. please help

that hose, plugs to your battery.
