I have a 98 seadoo GSX. i am having problems with the 15A battery fuse burning out at the fuse box. As soon as i connect the battery the fuse burns out. Can some one help me with this issue? What do i need to check or replace?

My guess is you have a broken pick-up bracket and may have damaged the stator in the magnito. This can happen when broken bits from the starter bendix or flywheel ring break/fragmate. To open the magnito cover, loosen the front mount and wood-block up the motor to get in there.

I would disconnect the VTS and try it, then disconnect the engine connector and try it. If it still blows you prob need a new MPEM.
