Help buying used sea doo

Hi, Im looking to get a used PWC and im used to stand up but im looking to get a sit down. I live in michigan so its going to be all fresh water riding. I found a couple on craigslist but like i said i dont know whats good in a sit down. Im looking at 2 1995 hx, or 96 xp. can you tell me if the are good? I'll put the links below.

Take them for l ride b-4 you buy. There are a myriad of problems that you can avoid by riding them, not just starting them up, i.e., seized engine, low compression, bad starter, electrical problems, etc.

I would stay away from an HX unless you know about them.

The HX was a racing hull, and is not very stable. You really can't really sit still on it, and it truly is a one person watercraft.

You will be happier with the XP.

BUT, as above... take it for a test ride. It can run great on the trailer, but all the gremlins will come out once it's sitting in the water.
