Hi,

Have a 98 Speedster - fun boat, got it last Spring and used it quite a bit last Summer.

Noticed the other day that the cap for the fuel vent is missing - think it was a black cap, on the port side of the boat, not the fuel filler cap or the oil fill cap but a screw-on cap for the fuel vent - have not been able to find a part # for it.....anyone know what it might be?

Hell, forget the part #, anyone know where I can get one or a recommended substitute? Am concerned that leaving it off could introduce water into the fuel when out on the water........

SDB almost has you setup with the correct link. You need the parts list for the fuel system.

OEM part number is 275500206 It is listed for $22.49. I'm not sure if you can still get it though.

It looks like something you may find an aftermarket part for though. This looks the same and is made by attwood for 6 bucks.

Thanks for the quick response - I found that part schematic earlier, but couldn't tell if the cap was included (no problem buying the whole vent for $22.49 as long as I get the cap) - guess I need to up the prescription on the reading glasses.

I ordered the Atwood one off Amazon (thanks for the tip) - will report back how it works out.

+1 for seadooforum

Big Tex - Been out on Lake Washington a number of times, took it over for a week on Lake Chelan, live right close to Lake Meridian out in Kent, was out there just about every other weekend dragging the kids around on water toys.
