It's great to have a site where you can go to for questions needing answers.....I'm new so you'll have to bare with me :) I live in the arctic and when I say arctic, we have snow on the ground already, lakes are freezing up and my new toy (well new to me) its unfortunate I had to already winterize my 1998 GTS 587 Seadoo.....I just got it and was only able to put it in the water 3 times but next year looking so forward to it. First time owning a seadoo and right off the bat, I apparently have a return oil line in a knot and not sure if was suppose to go somewhere. Not unless I start taking things off I can't seem to find where it attaches....something about the rotary valve shaft/engine crankcase return oil line but the location (as I can't find on line anywhere). A guy I talked to said he was surprised I didn't seize up the rotary plate - good thing I mixed the gas. now sitting for a few days oil was seeping out from underneath the motor but not sure where....

Welcome aboard...

What is the closest place that people would actually know of by you?

We have some 2-stroke wizards here and they will be able to help you for sure in regards to your oil line issue.

Post the question under the PWC 2-STROKE section as the right people will see it as compared to here within the meet and greet section.

If you don't see it, post here and I will direct you.

Thanks for joining...

The oil bath doesnt really cycle thru oil, it has no pump....so if theres oil in there usually the gears will be fine.

The oil bath connectors are under the manifolds on each side. On the exhaust side it is almost impossible to reach w/o the pipe out of the way.

Welcome to the best seadoo site on the net!! Just shoot me a PM if I can help further.
