So I have a dual carb set up with the shafts inline... Not like the normal dual carb set up.. Has anyone had to deal with trying adjusting the low speed adjuster on the pto carb? Its in the middle of the carbs and had as he'll to get too...
Get a 1/4 inch universal drive attachment. The things that work like universal joints. Turn the drive end 90 degrees on shaft and you can use it to turn screw.
I have a duel PWC trailer. I put the one needing adjustment on the right side bunks. Use the walk board to get to it. Back it down the ramp just enough for the intake to have a water supply to engine. Adjust while still tied to the trailer. No waves and wakes making it even harder.
Yeah I normally tie the ski up to the boat ramp while adjusting, my trailer sits way too high to be able to adjust it on there... I took the choke cable bracket off and was able to sorta get to it...
Very bad photo, but zip tied the cable out of the way.
I took pictures with my phone of the side of the carb. So I could find land marks to get to the screws.
Next time I rebuild, it is going to have white paint on the screw ends. Maybe tie a string to it. lead me to it.
I've noticed a difference since I've first fired it up... I'm also running a 164deg rotary valve in it also and going to duel carbs have seemed to help that also.
