hard start

I have an 08 speedster 150 and after running the boat for a while if I turn it off and try starting it again within a minute or so it seems like it hesitates starting like the starter is too hot. Is this normal or does it sound like my starter may be dying? If it sits for 10 min or so it starts right up. Thanks in advance... Danny.

check your battery and all the connections. clean them and make sure they are tight. most hard hot start issues are caused by a bad ground.
