Gtx starting issue

Guys

My solenoid and ignition coil were bad in my gtx...i replaced...when i hit start its like the starter doesnt want to start or motor is locked...so i jumped solenoid wo plugs in and it turns over fine...i put the plugs back in and jump the solenoid and again seems like engine is locked...any thoughts here??

Weak battery under load or weak starter under load.

most likely weak or almost dead battery

have you tried hitting the START button with the plugs OUT? see if it cranks. if so, probably weak battery

Yes the solenoid just clicks

Mine did that when I bought it. I put anew starter on and works like a champ. Old starter worked off ski, hooked up to battery. maybe just needs rebuild.

Plugs out, can you turn it by hand?
