GTI SE 130...Grinding noise above 40 mph's

I have a 2008 GTI SE130. When I run the machine above 40 MPH I hear a grinding noise that seems to be coming from the engine compartment. Is it in the engine or transmission components? Is this something else that I shouldn't be concerned with? Could it be noise from the water intake port?

Any idea or is this normal?
