GTI 130 Remove black front cover

I see these things that look like rivets holding the front cover on the GTI 130. I want to take it off so I can mount a fish finder on the cover. So I was wondering how I can i take it off in order to attach the fish finder mount.

Have you tried pushing into the small hole with a small screwdriver?

It wound up being a wide shoulder pop-rivet. I had to drill them out. I'll have to buy new pop-rivets to replace them with.
