Just got on board and looking forward to talking tech with other sea doo ers.

I do have a little problem with my 99 GTX LT and GTI. Found 2 stroke oil in the bottom of the hull this spring. It was a one time thing. After I cleaned it up I didn't see any more. Did I just fill the tank too full lat fall before storage? Is there some kind of over flow valve?

Welcome to the forum, 2cycle. The oil tank is vented. How much oil did you find in the hull?

Where in Michigan are you. Lots of folks here from your state.

There is no overflow valve, but if you filled it past the top of the tank into the neck it could have leaked where the filler tube connects. There is a vent on the top of the tank but it has a one way valve, it shouldn't leak. Another common place is the grommet where the outlet hose connects. I would just keep an eye on it.

Hey Thanks LouDoo, Good info I will keep an eye on it.
Any idea how I can check the Balance shaft oil level with the engine still in the ski?
