I keep reading that gray fuel lines are bad. That is what I have on my two 95 sxp's. Should I change them? Why are they bad?

I actually went to pepboys and bought 25' of 1/4" fuel hose and a bunch of 1/4" hose clamps and redid my lines only about a week ago. Didn't help my issue but at least I now have nice new lines lol

The gray fuel lines deterioate with age, they produce a green goo which will go everywhere in the fuel delivery system. You need not only to replace the fuel lines but you also need to clean and\or replace the main fuel filter, the carb. filters (these are usually really bad), and replace the fuel selector valve.

Replacing the vent hose is optional, I didn't need to replace mine, the vent is not part of the fuel delivery system.
