I was launching my ski's the other day at the local marina and saw a bonehead riding his stand-up in the no wake zone. His friends were on the dock and I told them that it was no wake, and they said that he was beyond the bouy... It was a hazard bouy,:banghead: but still inside the no wake zone.

It's morons like this guy that have given our sport such a bad reputation.
My question to the panel: What do you guys do when you come across someone like this?

Depends.

If they are personally pissing me off, or it's busy ( crowded )... I let the ranger know what's going on.

If it's not busy, and I'm heading out... I just leave it alone.

we've got so many manatees down here that the law enforcement takes care of idiots like that. there are idle speed and low wake zones all over, but it is for protecting private property and the manatees, so they are pretty serious about enforcing the slow speed zones and not many people go faster than they should.
