I have read the manual 10,000 times. Inserted vacuum pump hose 18.7 inches into dip stick tube pumped out oil (after warm up) ran machine through drowned start 3 times pumped out after each crank of 10 to 12 sec. replaced oil filter, added 3.7 liters of oil. Checked dip stick oil above indent on dip stick. Thought to self I will try whole process again for piece of mind, maybe I didn't get all the oil out first time. Went through whole shebang in manual again, this time added only 3 liters of oil. Oil still well above indent on oil dip stick. in the manual shows that oil should be toward upper indent. Any ideas about oil level other than just removing enough to be in-between indents in dip stick thanks for any input I know this must be a reoccurring thread. Rich

just keep pumping a little out at a time until you get the desired level. It's a real pain to try and get all of the oil out, so what I do is whatever I can suck out with the pump is what I put back in!! High oil level can really cause problems so be careful.

Uhm....3.7 liters = 4 US quarts?

important to remember about draining the oil in our skis....

Only replace what you take out.

You want the oil halfway between the bends on the dip stick with a warmed motor.

you can't get all the oil out, it holds about 5 qts total but most oil changes only get 3-4 out. don't worry about, you're fine, just as stated above, oil in the middle of dipstick.

I have a stupid question...did you check the oil level after it circulated through the motor?
