Gauge cluster

Will a gauge cluster from a 2002 seadoo gtx work on a 1997 seadoo gtx

You generally have to look at the wiring diagram and switch plugs and wires. I think the 1997 has an extra red (postive) wire that goes into the info gauge. I don't know of the 2002 has the same set up. I swap gauges from different skis. Prices are obscene so I get when I can get cheaply.

So if I rewire them it should work I do electrical work and pretty good with wires

All you have to do is have both wiring diagrams and connect the wires. I didn't reconnect the compass wires. Good Luck !!

“tem” is correct,,,check out wiring,,,,and match them up,,,through those years, the colour coded wires serve the same function.
