never heard back from him, doubt we ever will!
i thought bout seadoo 3d's, i'd get one, if had the money. as far as reliability, since they are the 951 motors, i'm sure their life is pretty limited

Hey Matt !
just thought i'd pass along an update, This morning I ran back into the dude that bought the 95xp800 off of me. He said that he had spoken to you about that ski, he finallly blew the engine had a run away on the trailer and either didn't know how to or couldn't stop it so its being rebuilt. not sure if you know but he had it repainted, made some more mods and he told me he had the thing screaming. He's running a few xp's and a couple couches so i'm saving his number and maybe we'll go out and beat up the ski's together.

yep, you're correct, can't remember why i thought that, so.. in that case, longevity on 3d's will be much more

Well let me tell you about my latest Ebay / CL adventure.
I start by placing ad for my narrow double trailer on ebay.
Have it BO and get a bite and I counter.
Ad was for local pick up mind you. Just didn't have cash only at pick up since I left in I take PP.

Knowing all the fees I quickly end sale request to cancel sale and refund right away. Letting buyer know whats up and the mix up that happened.
He's where the adventure starts on Monday.
I find out buyer is in the Bahamas'. Oh Oh!!
Buyer tells me I have to wait for money to clear his PP first in order to send money to nephew.
Oh Ohh.
Those fees are looking pretty good now right?
He goes to tell me that he purchased a ski blindly and is having shipped to cargo place and if I could look at other skis for him.

I said let him help him what I can so I keep him interested long enough to get money for trailer and be done with it.
Make multiple calls, emails, follow up the whole nine yards
Takes all week. I ended seeing two skis all somewhat turds for the money and waited two days for another CL buyer to never to follow up water test on the weekend.
That Sunday email buyer of trailer and say thats it!
I can't do any more leg work and all I want is the cash for the trailer so I can drop it off Monday and be done with it.
Calls nephew and I get cash take trailer on Monday all done.
Some hard feelings since my request was abrupt he said.
Buyer still wants assistance and says he will throw something my way.
Had yet seen anything but money for my trailer for previous troubles and delivery.
So I start search again and send him the links to selection and explain he has to to the leg work and follow up.
Price limit excludes high ones and salt turds define lower end. Anything in between has been restored or is not working because it needs starter or its been sitting and needs carb's cleaned I tell him..
The buyer is in the Bahama's and uses sky jack so the calls are never quite good.
I get one to work with me and bring it to me to water test location. Explain situation that ski is not for me and is for a buyer in the Bahama's
Makes it easy for me and nephew of buyer to come with cash.
He backs out because it was to far for him. But would come for asking price of 200 bucks more. Guy was like I don't have to sell it. Call me when your schedule opens up.
I say to myself "sure buddy" and said I'll get back to you.
Again CL winner.
Then today I find this beauty right in the sellers price range.
Work out deal and buyer willing to drive to my location.

So, here is why you don't negotiate and do deals for other people.
I tell nephew to pay the guy if water test goes good and he tells me he doesn't have all of it
WTF!!!!! I tell this kid how can you show up with less when I told you and your uncle all day today what the deal was and how he had to come with specific amount.
Never did he mention it as I was calling him to hurry and be there before buyer got there.
Would of been nice to know before hand VS the surprise for me and seller!
Needless to say a little back and forth with seller. He can see I had no part in this and that he was just an idiot to show up with less.
I was calling uncle saying how can he send this kid with less money and how did he expect me to do anything.
He said his PP is empty and can't send money till tomorrow.
Asks me to please take care of the missing hundred bucks. I say I can't since I din't bring any money. Why would I right?
I tell seller don't worry I will give it to him just let me get home to PP him.
No do it from your phone his buddy says.
All this time nephew is gone after he paid with 20's and hundreds.
People pay with hundreds. Its easier to count on the side of the dark road.:facepalm:
As I try to use mobile PP being bitten by mosquitos I get call nephew coming back with $80
Dumbshit somehow had an extra 80 bucks that he so conveniently remember after he drove away.
Probably tried to pocket difference after he put 20 bucks of gas.
Guys takes the 80 bucks and everyone happy and off their merry ways.
So to end the story I did all this not only to sell my trailer originally but I made out with a sweet ass 2nd aluminum trailer. for my troubles
Buyer in the Bahama's doesn't want 2nd trailer and nephew didn't want it so I guess it goes to me.

Yip, With out a doubt.
I was just glad to sell my trailer in the end.
Buying a ski is too much work and back and forth!
I tried harder once I had money for my trailer and I no longer wondered if finding other ski was requirement for me to get paid.
Then I set my sights on his ski with good trailer which I knew I would end up for fee.
hehehe.
I just didn't count on being blindsided but had feeling something would go wrong.
I felt bad for buyer since he took the time to bring it me I din't not want to stiff him since I knew I was getting such a choice trailer.

Not sure yet.
Makes moving ski's from double to single a lot easier now vs using the beach cart for one ski
Ea VX can sit on a single trailer in the garage now

Anyway, yea, there was that 3D and there was another Yellow one closer to me, but I don't remember year or price.
There's a guy who has like a late 80's early 90's JS440 for like $800 but he said the compression on both cylinders are at about 125...is that kinda low, considering I saw other Kawi's and Yami's with 150, 160, and even a guy claiming PSI is up at 180???
