It's definitely been apart before engine is not orig, but the hull looks pretty clean and complete with a trailer for $600

"Only thing this ski needs is a carborator kit ( approx. $100.00), a couple of gaskets and reassemble the motor. Comes with trailor, 2 batteries, clean title, and cover.

1999 Seadoo SPX

Well racer thanks for this posting. She is ours as of 10 minutes ago. I know some of the guys didnt want to travel a couple hours for it and im glad because she is now on her way to Detroit. We have a nice silver 787 to drop in her.

Also had to say thanks for finding a brand new stock decal to replace the only decal that was messed up on it. This one is staying stock. It will get cleaned up and im going to try and find a good paint to stencil on the seadoo logo on the seat, the ones on it have faded off.

No problem bud! I stumbled on it while using search tempest one night while looking for "stuff". I was stoked when you were going after it and was over the top when I found you the NOS decal-- I still can't believe that. Sometimes the stars align just right, and it was possibly your payback in a way for what you did for your future brother in law. It's all good karma!

Obviously we didnt pay asking price. I cant wait to get it. I have never seen one in person. I had a chance to get one last summer but by the time I got off work it was gone, the guy put it on cl and it was gone a couple hours later. They are very rare around here. We couldnt pass this up. We dont even care what needs to be done inside. We are taking everything out of it and minting out the inside, I dont think any of the motor or exhaust that is in it will even be going back in it. Fresh water parts will be replacing almost everything. As long as the mpem is good im happy. We have just stripped a 97 and 98 spx last month and we havent even listed many of the parts yet. The bad part about getting this is we have to wait until mid Feb to actually get our hands on it. We have someone that lives in Orlando bringing it to us when they come to visit.

As for the 99 spx being rare. I see tons of 95xp 800s around here and last yr someone we know picked one up running for $1000 and apparently those are suppose to be extremly rare. We have now owned every 787 x4 hull this was the missing link. I have only seen maybe 2-3 on craigslist. They are always listed for about $3000 and dont last long. I just think its weird that we havent ever even seen one on the water.

On another note, I think when we have it all cleaned up and ready to go, you may see my avatar change lol. I would then have to sell the 96 xp. I think us having 4 personal skis is enough. Its hard enough getting 4 skis to the water. We were suppose to start a 4 place trailer build last year but had too many other projects going on.

That is a real nice pick up JSG!! I have been watching that SPX for awhile it was listed at $800 a month ago. It is nice to see that it is going to a good home. I tried to convince the wife we need to take a road trip to Florida, but she would have none of it. Is that one going into your personal collection?
