Yes what a bonus! An extra set of RXX bottom decals. There were a lot of new gaskets and spark plugs and such....I love those type things.

Well that's 2 out of three as far as what I called myself out to do this week. I text the guy with the $500 96XP to see if he got his title straight and he came back with "it's gone. The guy after you gave me 600 for it". Honestly I have plenty to do. I did go get the 99GSX for $600 on a trailer though. It was not shiny like the photos and it was a ways further then I was thinking. I'm happy to have it for the price but what's with this exhaust change? I guess he didn't know to call Nick for the right parts so he used the X4 parts laying around?

I HATE when sellers spray the ski down with water to make it look all clean and unfaded if I see water droplets in a close up I pretty much assume the gel is faded
 
No problem that's what this wonderful thread is all about. If you get the paperwork I'd be interested in the ski. I'm saving one now(95XP) it's about a days work from CL ready.

I sold the RXX!! I know I know, the guy who bought both 95 XP800 X models had to have it. Easy come easy go. Now I can get to my XPL sooner.

I did not go get the 4-stroke. I thought I've read about valve problems and such, I just was not sure. I still could go get it but I want to make sure those go for hours and hours. I never got an engine pic either. If it's all salt use that could be a turd.
 
If i get the paperwork i will keep and rebuild it. Thinking about getting a smaller toy for the lake around the corner.

What do yall think of this?
Waiting for pictures but thinking about offering $400 if it has a trailer.
I know the busted starter may have messed up other things. Without being able to start it or even compression test i will treat is as a parts ski.

"broken starter" is often code for locked up. People think the starter is out because it just clicks when they hit the start button. Now if you've been livin' right it's just the solenoid in the rear Ebox. For that money I would want a runner on a trailer. It's a great model though. You may be able to go over there, point out a few problems and buy it on a trailer for fiveish. Just at least grab the pto by hand and make sure it's not locked.
 
agree with nam, that one up north isn't a deal at all....

FWIW mine (2004/105 hours non SC, cosmetically 8/10) sold for approx $3400 no trailer as part of a package deal. I tried for 3 weeks to sell it separately at 4,000, 3800, 3600 and finally found the sweet spot....

actually the combo deal on the double trailer is a dam good package price...

I'm seeing lots and lots of 10 yr old 4 strokes that are between $2800-$4200. If your looking every day you'll find the right deal.
